There are two simple explanations for this:

1. Your claim will be visible to our global network of investigators, who may approach you in the future to assist in the recovery of the stolen cryptocurrency.

2. The broker address recorded may be added to the Reclaimasset database. Our customers and partners will be able to see the addresses once we flag them in our database. For example, our client exchange can identify the hacker’s location (provided by a hacking victim to our service) and take decisive action, such as freezing the funds.

Once accepted, the complaint will be accessible to Reclaimassets’ investigators and partners. Cases involving losses in excess of $500K and where the claimant has given all requested evidence are more likely to be examined. However, it is possible that the investigators would like to submit a class action lawsuit in order to collect a large number of claims from a single scam. As a result, even reclaiming assets from low-value cases may be effective in the future.

Please keep in mind that recovering stolen cryptocurrency is a complicated process that necessitates the collaboration of legal offices, law enforcement, and asset recovery companies (often from different and/or different countries). The entire process includes not only asset tracking, but also reaching out to other victims of the same case, creating and filing a class action, on-site investigations, screening of computers and servers, supporting law enforcement activities, conducting interviews and open business intelligence research, and recovery. Even if the total loss is only a few bitcoins, the case may not be viable due to the extremely high costs of the litigation procedure.

1. Do not put your faith in investing websites that promise quick and large returns; the majority of them are scams.
   Only download wallet updates or IOS/Android applications from reputable websites and sources. Please double-check that you are getting updates or apps from a legitimate source. Be conscious that hackers may use even trusted sources, such as official app stores.
2. Do not give anyone your private key or login credentials to your wallet or exchange account; keep them secure, preferably off the internet and digital devices.
3. Be wary of recently met investors who promise quick and effective profits. Please keep in mind that there are numerous profiles of bogus cryptocurrency traders on LinkedIn, Instagram, Telegram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
